Welcome to 2017!
Just as we have all tidied and sorted our classrooms, labs and offices for the new school year, the Level 3 Classroom Teacher Association has tidied, sorted and refreshed our website – we hope you like the new look! It should be easier to find the information you need and to communicate with other members. Please visit the site regularly to check the latest information available.
Our first committee meeting this term is on Saturday 18 February, 10 am, Hollywood Primary School. All members welcome, and please feel free to bring or send along any aspirant L3CT colleagues who would like to come and seek advice as they start planning their applications, as some of the committee members will be happy to run a Q&A session for aspirants concurrently with the business of the committee meeting.
Please also note for your diaries our first workshop this term, which will be on Saturday 18 March, 10 am, Hollywood Primary School. This will be a round table discussion of current L3CT roles and challenges. Discuss how to make the most of your role in your school and how best to share best practice across your school or network. For those of you outside the metro area, we’d love to hear from you through our blog – please share your news, views and suggestions.
Whether you are a long-standing member of the Association, or a newly-joined L3CT, we welcome you back to another school year and the support and fellowship of the L3CTA. Have a wonderful term and we hope to see many of you at events through the year. If you are unable to get to Perth often, we hope that the new format of the website enhances your ability to share your views and contribute to the Association.
All the very best for 2017.
Celia Elissegaray
President, Level 3 Classroom Teacher Association
