Dear Level 3 Classroom Teacher Association Member,
Welcome back to that crescendo of activity that is Term 4. I hope you’ve had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready for the last lap of the year… This term is a busy one for the Association as well, with our AGM, meeting of the Executive with the Department, and our Celebration event.
Our termly Committee Meeting this term is the Annual General meeting which provides a great opportunity for all members to get together. We are delighted to welcome Angela Rossen as our guest speaker. Angela’s linkage of Science, Art and Sustainability has something to inspire and interest teachers in all settings. The AGM is also our annual review as an organisation of our aims and directions, with reports from committee members, and the opportunity for new committee members and office-bearers. Our organisation stays most relevant to its membership when it has an active committee drawn from a diverse teaching background and new members of the Association are strongly encouraged to take an active part. All positions spill and you can be sure of people to propose and second your nomination and a warm welcome to the committee if you are interested in joining the team. Feel free to contact me on Celia.Elissegaray@education.wa.edu.au if you would like to know more about being on the committee or any of the specific positions of the executive prior to the meeting. Nomination forms can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or brought/completed on the day.
